Albert Menendez is an accomplished keyboard/piano player/producer/ writer specializing in latin, r&b, jazz, neo-soul, funk, and classical music. Albert has just come of a three year tour with Shakira in support of her last release Fijacion Oral Volumen 1 on Sony Music.

Albert recently returned to touring with Shakira in support of her newest release Fijacion Oral Volumen 1 on Sony Music.
In the summer of 2005, Albert also had two new releases. In late June l"Believe" by the Sterling Ensemble featuring Juliet Moisha on the Ricanstruction Label. And in July, from Sterling Ensemble featuring Sara Devine - "Life Ain't What it Seems" - on Vega Records.
In March 2005, Albert Menendez wrote and recorded with Colombian artist Cabas' in New York and Monterrey, Mexico for Cabas' upcoming EMI Records release produced by Toy Hernandez..more details coming soon!
Albert's most recent tours included the 2003-2004 Alejandro Sanz world tour as musical director and keyboard player, and Shakira's 2001-2003 world tour playing keys.
Albert can often be found playing with Louis Vega, and is featured on his current release - Elements of Life on MAW records. As a musician, Albert has recorded and/or toured with many artists over the years including John Secada, Corey Glover, Masters at Work, Roni Size, Dido, Tito Puente, Melanie B & Missy Elliot, Jamiroquai, Luther Vandros, Janet Jackson, Nuyorican Soul, Sinead O'Conner, Gloria Estefan, Icognito, Dead Prez, Soul II Soul and more.
Albert signed with Peer Music Publishing as a songwriter in 2002.
Born and raised in Cuba, Albert came to Miami as a teenager and now resides in New York City . He studied classical piano at Univeristy of Miami.
